Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya (Minority Institution) is situated in the heart of GANGA YAMUNA DOABA , and is located on the westen periphery of Pilkhuwa town on NH 24 about 40 km from New Delhi . This institution is well equipped with sufficient study rooms, Laboratories, Library, Office, an open assembly hall, a girls hostel, separate staff and common room dispensary, clean toilet, auditorium, gymnasium and open green land.
Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalaya is a Minoity Institution. Respected Supreme Court has directed in case no. appeal (civil) 5041 of 2005 P.A. Inamdar & Others v/s State Of Maharahtra :- (1) Each Minrity Institution is entitled to have its own fee structure subject to the condition that there can be no profiteering and capitation fees cannot be charged. A provision for reasonable surplus can be made to enable further expansion. The revelant factors which would go into determining the reasonability of a fee structure , in opinion of majority , are : (i) in infrastructure and facility avaiable , (ii) the invastement made (iii) Salaries paid the teachers and staff , (iv) future plans for expansions and betterment of institution etc. S.B. Sinha , J, defined what is 'captation' and 'profiteering' and also said that reasonable surplus should ordinarily vary from 6 per cent to 15 per cent for utilization in expension of the system and development of education.
